—What about shipment and delivery times?
CDJapan offers four kinds of shipment methods:
- SAL (Surface Air Lift): This is the most economic method. With this air+surface shipping, it might take quite a long time until the delivery date (the cargo is shipped once it is full, so it depends on the situation) and provides no tracking service. (1-3 weeks)
- Air Mail: This is the standard international shipping. It is fairly quick (although that can vary depending on your country’s customs) and you can have tracking service for an additional fee of 410 yen, so you can know where your package is at any time. (4-12 days)
- EMS (Express Mail Service): This is the fastest method offered by post offices, and it also includes tracking service. (3-6 days)
- FedEx International Priority: This is the fastest method possible for orders placed in CDJapan. It is handled by an independent company that ships all over the world with the exception of Russia, and it provides tracking service. (1-3 days)
