Yesterday, Revo was live on J-WAVE’s Beat Planet, a radio show conducted by regular SH collaborator Sascha. This is Revo’s first appearance in the media for about half a year, and also the first after the release of the 9th Story CD, Nein.

“This is the first time we do a Story Concert outside Tokyo. I want to bring Story Concerts to more places, but it is difficult due to the amount of staff and preparation needed for each stage.”

“Nein was a difficult album to make. Creating a story from scratch is easier than creating new songs from already existing stories. Also, unlike previous albums, Nein is not set in a specific time and space.”

“[About Ori no Naka no Hakoniwa] I wanted to challenge myself with something new. Also, I wanted to keep surprising Laurants with unexpected turns, as it’s always happened in Sound Horizon.”

“So far we’ve put on Story Concerts where we add costumes and dancing to the music in order to tell a story. However, I’m interested in giving Sound Horizon a drammatic approach, where it isn’t all about the music.”

At the end of the interview, Sascha said he couldn’t wait to see him at the Story Concert later in the evening. To that, Revo replied:

“Well, I am going back to Tokyo tonight as I’m busy with work, so please take care of Noël for me!”

Sound Horizon’s new full-length album Nein (9th Story CD) went on sale last week in three different version (Regular, Limited and Deluxe). The album entered the Daily Album Charts at number 2 with 22,174 units sold on its first day, and debuted on the Weekly Charts at number 2 with a total of 46,518 units sold.
